CFO/Controller
We seek a compassionate and seasoned professional to join the 5-Stars team as the CFO/Controller.
The ideal candidate must possess:
I. Experience working with private and government payor sources
II. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
III. Master’s or MBA with CPA preferred.
IV. Financial Management in the healthcare environment
V. MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Quick Book, Point Click Care, Yardi, MatrixCare, and other server-based financial software systems.
Responsibilities include overseeing the financial operations, forecasting and budgeting, financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to support organizational goals. The role offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in 5-Stars Management Solution’s financial management and contribute to its success with the primary purpose of:
a. Develop, execute, and control the 5-SMS overall financial administration and general accounting processes.
b. Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, financial reporting, and budget preparation. c. Oversee capital and strategic financial planning, including debt and investment monitoring, preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the President/CEO
Must possess a complete understanding of and operationalize the mission, values, and principles of 5-Stars Management Solutions.

Executive Personned Administrator
This is a highly confidential managerial/administrative position requiring the exercise of managerial discretion in implementing the rules, regulations, and policies of 5-SMS and in advising the President/CEO and Senior Management Staff on matters relating to recruitment, selection, placement, retention, discharge, personnel records, compliance with labor laws, compensation and benefits administration and strategic human capital development, including performance appraisals. Also serves as the Executive Secretary to the President/CEO and the point person for 5-Stars Management Solutions’ information technology needs.
The role includes initiating management and leadership development programs to ensure 5-SMS staff have the skills and knowledge to implement the organization's mission and objectives effectively. Considering the current size of the 5-SMS, you are also responsible for payroll systems, serving as the Scribe at Board meetings, and the confidential storage of all 5-SMS documents.
Role Specifications:
• A master’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience involving benefit administration, labor relations, staffing relations, including staff development, and payroll functions • Experience in nursing/hospital facility management and union negotiation and grievance process required • Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal labor regulations is a plus.
• SHRM membership (or the ability to obtain membership) and possession of one of the following certifications:
SPHR, GPHR, CCP, WLCP, or CBP.
